ISU Monitor provides lightweight server monitoring for Linux systems. It monitors a variety of system metrics and sends alerts via email or text messsage when parameters fall below thresholds that you define. The current version, 0.9.0, provides monitoring for CPU Utilization and Load, Filesystem Usage, Logfiles, Swap and Physical Memory, Processes, and URLs. History is maintained for each parameter in graph form and all configuration is done via the web interface. The new version of ISU includes a much improved user interface, a far better data collection method, better looking graphs and a new 'one-script' install. We've also unclogged things a little by removing the DB requirement and moving to a simpler, faster text-based system. The overall result is a quicker, cleaner monitor for your Linux box. |
