Formchecker

Anyone that has ever developed a web-application will probably have been confronted with the frustrations of it's users, that if they leave the page without saving the data they have entered, it all will be lost.This script will end those frustrations!! When included in any page (with the script-tag) you can activate it once the page is loaded (with the onLoad event) to store the current 'states' of all the forms in the web-page. Then, when the user tries to leave the page, it will perform another check and if it appears the state of the form(s) have been altered (the user has changed some data), it will alert the user of this and give the possibility to cancel leaving the page It also provides a function with which you can submit any form without triggering this alert. And it also provides a possibility to exclude certain elements from the check (so they can be changed without triggering the warning)

Strip HTML tags (form) script

This script removes any HTML tags from user entered data such as a TEXTAREA before the form is submitted. This is generally a good idea, as HTML tags can corrupt the rest of your form contents or even pose a security risk.

Synforce

Synforce is a Javascript library that provides real-time syntax enforcement on data entered into text input boxes in HTML forms. Synforce is Open Source software, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (the LGPL). The input text box is commonly used for gathering unstructured data, but suffers from the lack of any standard way to ensure that a user enters only data of an appropriate type: for example, although you may provide a text box to gather a customer's name, if the customer is inattentive (or even malicious) he may enter his telephone number instead. Synforce goes some way to ensuring that this cannot occur, by checking the syntax of the data entered as it is typed, and discarding characters that would violate the syntax that you wish to enforce.
